Alexa Lanpher
Executive Director
A native of Colorado, Alexa discovered at an early age her passion for helping others achieve their goals. This passion stuck with her through college, where she earned a BS in Psychology from Colorado State University. While at Continuum, Alexa has served on several state committees to update the rules and regulations governing service providers. While Alexa has held several positions within Continuum’s management team over the past 25 years, her focus has always remained on providing creative support to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to thrive in their community.
Paul Villamaria
Chief Financial Officer
Paul received his bachelor’s degree in finance from Pittsburg State University (KS) in 1987 and an MBA from Colorado State University in 1989. In his career, he has worked in an array of corporate finance positions within consumer product companies, as a self-employed business owner/entrepreneur, and in the nonprofit sector. Paul was hired to join the Executive Team in August 2021 and was drawn to Continuum of Colorado for its mission driven work to serve the IDD community.
Cindy Dutton
Senior Director of Human Resources and Support Services
Cindy received her Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development from Western Illinois University. She started her career in 1991 as a Case Manager with a foster care agency in Chicago, Illinois. Cindy moved to Colorado in 2000 and was hired as a Resource Coordinator for Developmental Pathways in 2005. After transferring to a Program Manager position with Continuum of Colorado, Cindy found her niche. Cindy oversaw Continuum’s residential teams as the Director of Residential and Therapeutic Services until 2021 when she transitioned into her current position as Senior Director of Human Resources and Support Services.
Tom Knost
Senior Director of Programs
Tom Knost received his bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati in 1997. After graduation, he worked in the mental health field with children and adolescents in Ohio, Arizona, and Colorado. Tom came to work for Continuum of Colorado in 2003 and has had the opportunity to support many of the different programs Continuum has to offer. He was promoted to Senior Director of Programs in 2022 and values the opportunity to be part of an agency that is committed to supporting individuals in the manner in which they would like to be supported.
