Residential Services

Overview

The residential department provides a person centered approach to providing services. They offer a variety of placements with supervision and independence levels tailored to the individual in service’s strengths and need. As a part holistic services approach, the residential department encourages involvement with family and friends. We are committed to addressing the total needs of each individual in a typical home environment.

Host Homes

  • Ash House

    is a six-bedroom ranch style home located near Colorado and Arapahoe Boulevard in Centennial. This house focuses on assisting those who need support with mobility and high medical needs. This house has a huge backyard and porch that during the warm months the individuals that live there love to sit on and enjoy the sunshine.

  • Clayton House

    is a six-bedroom ranch style home located near Orchard Road and University in Littleton. The individuals in this home are involved in Special Olympics and active with the community. The house has a backyard with a basketball hoop so they can play together when they have some downtime.

  • Fulton House

    is a two story, six bedroom pilot program house that is located on Fulton St and Mississippi St in Aurora. The house specializes in helping individuals with higher behavioral needs. This house is newly remodeled and just re-opened February of 2016.

  • Lima House

    is a six bedroom Ranch style all male home, located on Mississippi St and Lima St in Aurora. Lima House is located only blocks away from the shopping center Gardens at Havana in Aurora.

  • Nevada House

    is a five bedroom all female two story home located in a neighborhood near Mississippi St and Troy Ave in Aurora. All of the individuals that live here are all involved in Special Olympics.

  • Parker East House

    is a two story six bedroom all male home that is located in the Black Forrest Estates. This house has over an acre of land which gives plenty of space for the guys who live there to play sports and ride their bikes.

  • Ponderosa

    is a two story, six bedroom house with an elevator to help anyone that has requires mobility assistance. This house specializes in helping individuals with higher behavioral needs.

  • Sherman House

    is a six-bedroom ranch style home located near Orchard Road and Broadway in Centennial. The individuals in this home like to enjoy walks in their neighborhood and camping in their backyard.

  • Village East

    is a two story, six bedroom house with an elevator to help anyone that has requires mobility assistance. This home is located near Florida and Havana in Aurora. This house specializes in helping individuals with both medical and higher behavioral needs.

  • Washington House

    is a six-bedroom ranch style home located in the corner of Arapahoe and Washington Street in Littleton. This house focuses on assisting those who need support with mobility and high medical needs. This house is located less than a mile away from West Day Program and South Glenn Mall.

Group Homes

Our Group Home Settings utilize a cutting edge electronic medication administration program, directly connected to the pharmacy, to assure safe and accurate delivery and monitoring of medications. Priorities include appropriate access to medical, counseling, and behavioral services, proper nutrition and food preparation, grocery and personal needs shopping, provision for personal hygiene services, training regarding personal care, and all other aspects of daily living, transportation, community participation, and day activities programs of choice.

Apartment Settings

We currently have apartment programs in the Littleton and Aurora Area.
Individual’s that participate in the apartment program live in their own apartment and receive tailored support from staff to increase their independence. Staff can help with meal management, grocery shopping, medical appointments, and medication management as needed.

Family Care Giver Setting

Family Care Giver services allow an individual to receive residential services within the comforts of their own home or the home of a loved one.
