Personal Care Training Lab

Personal Care Training Lab Overview

Continuum of Colorado has been providing services to individuals with developmental disabilities/delays for over 40 years. In 2012, Continuum of Colorado became a (non-medical) licensed Home Health Agency by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment.

The Personal Care Training Lab was established as an instruction course and learning lab to provide other agencies in our community a resource to send their staff. We provide a great environment for them to obtain the necessary skills for Personal Care Worker certification.

The Training Lab consists of:

4 hours of interactive instruction

Small class sizes

Classes are held twice each month (additional classes scheduled for groups of 6 or more)

Newly renovated facilities

Students will be practicing the skills they will be using by practicing on each other. Please come prepared to demonstrate competency in the following areas:

Wash hair

Brush teeth

Mock bathing and bed baths

Lifts and transfers

Use of gait belts

Adaptive equipment

For additional information on any of the above services, please contact us.
